Feature-Driven Product Breakdown

SUPERIOR PENETRATION & FAST CURING: Tried & True Danish Oil is designed for faster absorption and curing compared to typical natural oil finishes. This makes it an excellent primer for other T&T finishes, especially on highly absorbent wood.

VERSATILE APPLICATIONS: In addition to traditional wood finishing techniques, Danish Oil can be used to mix custom stains, as a primer and grain enhancer before applying epoxy or oil-based film finishes. It's also perfect for other traditional uses involving pure linseed oil.

PROFESSIONAL QUALITY: This linseed oil for wood is commonly used by woodworking professionals for applying to bare wood or over already-stained pieces.

FOOD SAFE & NON TOXIC: The Danish Oil is ideal for rustic pieces, cabinets, butcher blocks, and priming open-pored woods. It is 100% safe for food use but is recommended to be sealed with Original Wood Finish for added moisture resistance on food-contact items.

EASY APPLICATION: Sand the piece to your desired finish and apply a very thin coat using a lint-free cloth at room temperature. Allow it to penetrate for just 5 minutes, then buff dry. Cure for a minimum of 8 hours before burnishing with 4/0 steel wool. Repeat if necessary.
